Watering

Watering

Lucky Bamboo can grow in water alone. Use distilled or filtered water, as tap water with chlorine or fluoride can damage the plant. Change the water every 1-2 weeks to keep it fresh and oxygenated. In soil: If potted in soil, water it enough to keep the soil slightly moist, but avoid waterlogging. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between watering.
fertilizer

fertilizer

Feed the plant with a diluted liquid fertilizer or specialized Lucky Bamboo fertilizer every couple of months. Over-fertilizing can lead to yellowing leaves, so be cautious about the concentration.
temperature

temperature

Striped Lucky Bamboo thrives in temperatures between 65-90°F (18-32°C). Keep it away from cold drafts, air conditioners, and heating vents. The plant prefers moderate humidity, but it can tolerate typical indoor conditions. If your air is very dry, mist the plant occasionally to maintain humidity.
sunlight

sunlight

Place the plant in indirect sunlight. It prefers bright but filtered light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves. Low light is also tolerated, but it may slow the plant’s growth.

Striped Lucky Bamboo (Dracaena sanderiana) is an attractive and hardy plant, often grown indoors. It is characterized by tall, slender stalks with alternating dark and light green stripes that give it a unique, decorative appearance. The stalks are usually upright but can also be shaped into spirals or woven patterns, which makes the plant a popular choice for home décor and feng shui.

The leaves of Striped Lucky Bamboo are long, narrow, and lance-shaped, growing from the tops of the stalks. These leaves are a vibrant green, sometimes with a faint yellow tint near the edges. The plant thrives in water with just a few pebbles to support it but can also be potted in soil. It's low-maintenance, preferring indirect sunlight and moderate humidity.

In many cultures, Lucky Bamboo is considered to bring good fortune, particularly when gifted in specific arrangements representing different meanings (e.g., two stalks for love, three for happiness).
