The plant is dry and need watering, as indicated by curly or parched leaves. Water at the cooler hours of the day, such as the early morning or late evening. Prior to watering, inspect your soil every time.

The flowering perennial herb Chlorophytum comosum is sometimes known as the "airplane plant" or "spider plant." For novices, the spider plant is an amazing houseplant. It is simple to propagate, tolerates typical room conditions, and requires little maintenance. The leaves are creamy white with a dark green stripe that is thin and arching. Up to one foot (30 centimeters) in length, leaves sprout from a central crown. For the best leaf color, give this plant lots of light.

Although spider plants may grow in most environments, there are a few things to think about if you want your plant to do well. When it comes to light, they are easygoing. Spider plants are prone to scorching in direct sunlight and appreciate strong light. They may, however, thrive in a variety of environments, from partially shaded to full sun.

Throughout the summer, you should give them a lot of water and mist them occasionally. Reduce irrigation during the cold months. Make sure they stay above 50 degrees Fahrenheit and keep them out of the cold drafts. Spider plants want well-aerated, rapidly-draining potting mix. During the summer, feed them once a week with liquid fertilizer, or start the growing season with pellets.
