Watering

Watering

Water once a week or when the top layer of soil begins to get a little dry. Always keep the soil slightly damp, but avoid overwatering as this can lead to brown blotches and falling leaves. The plant is dry and need watering, as indicated by curly or parched leaves. Water at the cooler hours of the day, such as the early morning or late evening. Prior to watering, inspect your soil every time.
fertilizer

The enormous, glossy, heart-shaped leaves of the exotic beauty plant Polka Dot Begonia, which is native to Asia, have wavy edges. These gorgeous veined leaves have big, noticeable colored dots and come in purple, blue-green, red, and bronze. The Polka Dot Begonia plant is an excellent option if you're looking for a striking, strikingly different-appearing plant that can grow to be as big as a tree or as small as 6 inches. It is true that some plants need more care and attention. Because alocasia plants are deadly, kids and dogs shouldn't be around them.

When cultivated inside, these plants require intense sunlight—but not too much. If the leaves appear burned or bleached, shift them to a dimmer area or cover them with a transparent curtain. Polka plants prefer a constant moisture content—not too wet, not too dry. If you use a pot without drainage holes, use extra caution when watering. Always use your finger to test the soil. Elephant ears require a lot of humidity, so it's a good idea to place the pot in a saucer of water that has been raised with pebbles. (The roots won't rot since the pebbles will keep them from sitting in the water directly.) Apply a liquid fertilizer that is suitable for all purposes once every two weeks. To give your plant time to relax throughout the winter, stop fertilizing.
